On behalf of our client Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd, On behalf of our client we are looking for competent and experienced Technical Sales Engineers (3) to be based in Kampala, Uganda.

Zenith Steel Fabricators Ltd is a leading steel fabrication firm that specializes in the design, fabrication, and erection of all types of structural steel works.

JOB PURPOSE
Zenith Steel has an exciting opportunity for the right people to join our experienced team as Technical Sales Engineers (3) to support and develop a diverse and exciting customer base covering Uganda.
The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, communicating with customers, and delivering exceptional sales and customer service. The Technical Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To maintain an excellent understanding of all Zenith Steel products.
• Proactively identify, engage in and drive sale of Zenith Steel Solutions based on targeted customers

• Able to read & understand the commercial contracts & terms stated in RFQ

• Develop and manage new sales within existing and new channels Ensuring delivery of monthly volume targets for the steel building solutions
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.

• Tracking of enquiry, conversion to orders and ensure monthly billing to the customers Follow up with internal stake holders to ensure orders are processed in a effectively/timely manner
• Timely remittance from the market as per the payment terms & contract agreement. Prepare weekly/monthly report on project pipeline/inquiry status/won order/lost orders analysis etc

• Develop relationship with the influencer community of Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Civil/Structural Engineers, Contracting Community and Key End-users (like Govt. Agencies, Semi Govt, Pvt Organizations, Pvt Customers, Foreign Investors, Export entities/ clients etc etc)
• Prepare technical & commercial proposals in conjunction with relevant cross functional teams for all tenders in the territory assigned.

• Liaise with cross functional teams and partners to develop new propositions for targeted customers
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers and direct them as needed as well as meet with customers/clients face to face or virtually to establish solutions.
• Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization and Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
• Document all required information for each site (technical report).

Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Requirements
• BSc degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering/Architecture or equivalent
• Sales Engineering and Customer Service Skills
• Minimum 2 years’ Experience in Technical Sales or project sales of industrial products/solutions, PEB, Structural Steel, Roofing/Wall & allied building component sales/marketing experience will have more advantage.
• Demonstrated experience of having networked with Builders, Architects, Civil/ Structural Engineers, QS and General Contractors (Civil Contractors) for marketing and selling building solutions / building products
• Knowledge of technology in construction and roofing industry is a plus
