Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Nutritionist to support our mission of promoting healthy eating and improved nutrition among Ugandan families. This is a unique opportunity to build your public profile and contribute to a growing food brand focused on health and well-being.

The ideal candidate will support in creating content and be the face in the videos to deliver the content. The videos will be shared on social media channels. Additionally, the nutritionist might be required to occasionally provide feedback on MSEMs’ food products and advise how they can improve nutritional value.

This is not a full-time job, but an occasional consultancy role with 1 – 2 days’ engagement per month.

Key Responsibilities

Main Role

• Co-create video scripts on nutrition topics

• Record videos on nutrition at StartHub Africa or other selected venues

Additional Role

•  Analyse and advise entrepreneurs on the nutritional value of their food products

Qualifications & Experience

• University Degree in Nutrition or any other related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in practically providing nutrition consultancy

• Being able to present key nutrition information in a concise manner

• Strong public speaking skills and an outgoing personality

• Excited to be in front of the camera

• Available at least 1 day per month physically in Kampala
