Nurse / Interviewers (23)

Experience and Other requirements:
• Should have participated in socio-economic survey data collection exercises for at least two years.
• At least 2 years’ experience, with evidence as an enrolled nurse.
• Good computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Must be available exclusively for the UMIS activity.

Qualifications:
• A Certificate in Enrol1ed Nursing /Comprehensive Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Uganda Advanced Certificate Education (UACE)
• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least a Credit in Maths and English
• Written and oral fluency in at least one of these local languages: Ateso, Luganda, Lugbara, Luo, Ngakarimojong, Runyankole, Rukiga, Runyoro,Rutoro, Lusoga, Lumasaaba, Rukonjo.
• Prior use of computers or other digital devices for data collection is an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in all training sessions.
• Enter the questionnaires on the personal computer device.
• Treat respondents with malaria as diagnosed by the Laboratory Technicians.
• Pay attention to and provide emotional and psychosocial support to the people in the household.
• Maintains close contact with respondents.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
