Job Summary

Elysian Strategic Solutions Limited is hiring a qualified Nurse on behalf of our Client (healthcare facility) in Lira. The role requires delivering safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care within a healthcare environment, ensuring high standards of patient safety, dignity, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor, record, and report patient conditions and clinical progress
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
• Support doctors and clinical teams during procedures and ward rounds
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
• Provide patient education, emotional support, and bedside care
• Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical standards

Minimum Requirements

• AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EEN) qualification or equivalent
• Valid registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC) or recognized authority
• Enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong caring approach to patient care
• Excellent communication skills and professional bedside manner
• Strong work ethic and professional presentation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
