Watoto Christian International School is dedicated to raising Godly transformational leaders.
Watoto Christian International School is seeking to recruit a Nurse to support the day-to-day clinical activities within the school.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Provide immediate care for injuries and illnesses that occur during school hours.

• Administer medications to students as prescribed by their healthcare providers and maintain accurate records.

• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing necessary care and coordinating with parents, school administration, and emergency services when needed.

• Maintain up-to-date health records for all students, including documentation of treatments and medications administered.
• Educate students and staff on basic health practices, including hygiene and disease prevention.

• Work with teachers, counselors, and other staff to support student health and well-being.

• Ensure compliance with government health regulations and school policies.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
• A Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.
• Must be a registered Nurse with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• At least two years' experience in nursing in a school setting.
• A valid and up-to-date practicing license.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to children, parents, and guardians.
• Passionate about community healthcare with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic computer software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to working within standardized guidelines of nursing care.
