Job Description:
As an intern at our music company, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and insights into the music industry. Our internship program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of the music business. The specific responsibilities and tasks may vary depending on the department you are assigned to, but generally include:
Departmental Support: Assist the team with day-to-day tasks and projects related to your assigned department. This may include research, data entry, and administrative duties.
Content Creation: Contribute to the creation of content such as social media posts, blog articles, or promotional materials to help promote our artists and projects.
A&R Support: Assist the A&R team in scouting for new talent, reviewing demos, and attending live performances or showcases to evaluate potential signings.
Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media management, email marketing, and content scheduling.
Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of music events, concerts, or promotional activities, including logistics, ticketing, and artist coordination.
Data Analysis: Analyze data related to streaming and sales performance of our music catalog, helping to identify trends and opportunities.
Creative Assistance: Aid in the creative process by providing input on album artwork, music videos, and other visual elements.
Administrative Tasks: Handle general office tasks, including phone calls, emails, filing, and organizing meetings or appointments.
Research: Conduct industry research, competitor analysis, and market trends to assist in decision- making.
Learning and Development: Take advantage of learning opportunities, workshops, and networking events within the company to enhance your knowledge of the music industry.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on music, business, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong passion for music and a desire to work in the music industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any relevant software or tools related to the department.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in music-related roles or internships is a plus but not mandatory.
