  • Conduct baseline, midline, and endline assessments.
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from beneficiaries and stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare M&E reports, success stories, and impact assessments.
  • Assist in compiling reports for donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of program achievements.

Capacity Building & Learning:

  • Train program staff on M&E tools and best practices.
  • Facilitate learning sessions to improve program effectiveness.
  • Support adaptive programming based on M&E findings.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work with program teams, beneficiaries, and external partners to enhance M&E activities.
  • Represent Smart Girls Uganda in M&E-related forums when needed.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in M&E, preferably in NGOs or social enterprises.
  • Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and visualization (Excel, Power BI, or other M&E tools).
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a part-time role.
  • Passion for gender equality, youth empowerment, and vocational training.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with human-centered design (HCD) approaches.
  • Knowledge of Uganda’s vocational training and youth development landscape.
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects and impact measurement.
