Position Summary:

Provide healthcare to women of childbearing age, including prenatal care, childbirth education, and other tasks as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Labor Support: Monitor progress and provide emotional guidance.
• Postnatal Care: Ensure health of mother and baby, including feeding support.
• Prenatal Care: Conduct antenatal assessments.
• Health Screening: Offer periodic screenings.
• Transfer of Care: Facilitate referrals to other facilities.
• Family Planning: Promote family planning and proper nutrition.
• High-Risk Pregnancies: Identify and refer to specialists; provide health education.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma in Midwifery
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar busy role.
