RESPONSIBILITIES:

1: Developing Business Central Extensions

• Designing and Developing Custom Extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: Create tailored solutions that extend the functionality of Business Central to meet specific business requirements, using AL language and other relevant tools.
• Ensuring Seamless Integration with Existing Systems: Work to integrate new extensions with the current system architecture, ensuring they function harmoniously without disrupting existing processes.
• Optimizing Solutions for Performance and Scalability: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of extensions, making sure they are scalable and efficient as the business grows and evolves.

2: Building Internal Capacity

• Conducting Trainings and Workshops for Team Members: Organize and lead sessions to educate team members on the latest developments, tools, and best practices in Business Central development.
• Promoting Continuous Learning and Development Within the Team: Encourage a culture of ongoing education by providing resources, recommending courses, and fostering an environment where team members feel motivated to improve their skills.
• Mentoring Junior Developers: Provide guidance and support to less experienced developers, helping them to understand complex concepts, improve their coding skills, and advance their careers.
• Developing Business Central Internal Integrations: Ensure seamless integration within Business Central modules, enhancing functionality and interoperability to meet evolving business needs at the company.

3: Project Implementation Following Success by Design Framework

• Managing Full Project Lifecycle: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Coordinating with Stakeholders: Engage with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to align on project goals, expectations, and deliverables.
• Monitoring and Reporting on Progress: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including milestones, risks, and any issues that arise, ensuring transparency and proactive management.

 4: Writing Proposals

• Outlining Project Scope, Objectives, and Deliverables: Develop detailed proposals that clearly define the project's goals, tasks, timelines, and outcomes, ensuring all stakeholders have a clear understanding of what to expect.
• Ensuring Alignment with Client Requirements: Engage with clients to gather their needs and expectations, ensuring that the proposed solutions meet their business objectives and deliver value.
• Communicating Technical Solutions to Non-Technical Stakeholders: Translate complex technical information into clear, understandable terms for stakeholders who may not have a technical background, facilitating better decision-making and project buy-in.

5: Supporting IT Operations

• Providing Technical Support and Troubleshooting for IT-Related Issues: Act as a point of contact for resolving technical issues, offering support and solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Collaborating with Other IT Professionals to Enhance Overall System Performance: Work alongside other IT team members to implement improvements, share knowledge, and develop strategies to enhance the performance and reliability of IT systems.

Job Requirements and Related Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 3+ Years Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation essentials experience.
• Skills in C/AL programming language, SQL server, Microsoft Azure AD, Version Control systems like Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Action, CI/CD pipelines, Azure Functions, Scrum, Kanban.
• Understanding of ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics CRM, Knowledge of ERP workflows and business processes.
• Experience with deployment and management of cloud-based applications
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Experience with implementing security measures in software development
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation
• Strong Interpersonal skills with ability to support and communicate with users and co-workers on all levels.
