About the Role
We are excited to announce the creation of a new position: MHPSS Clinical Supervisor, based in Uganda. This role will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the quality of clinical work across our Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) programs in Kenya and Uganda. As part of our mission, you'll collaborate with in-country teams to deliver exceptional care, provide clinical supervision, and contribute to program development in one of the most impactful areas of global health.

Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Leadership
o Provide clinical supervision, training, and support to MHPSS staff in Kenya and Uganda.
o Develop and monitor clinical quality standards for MHPSS programs, ensuring ethical and high-quality care.
o Partner with teams to enhance treatment planning, documentation, and case management practices.
2. Program Development
o Support the design and growth of MHPSS initiatives, including the peer-to-peer Caring for Carers (C4C) program.
o Collaborate on proposals and research to expand the reach and impact of MHPSS services.
o Represent HealthRight in MHPSS technical meetings and forums.
3. Grants and Compliance
o Assist with grant management, reporting, and compliance to ensure the successful delivery of funded programs.
4. Advocacy and Visibility
o Advocate for client rights, confidentiality, and access to mental health services.
o Represent HealthRight at national and international events to promote our vision and achievements.
What We're Looking For:
• Education: Master's in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Psychiatric Nursing, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience working with conflict-affected and traumatized populations.
• Skills: Clinical supervision, program development, leadership, and cultural competency.
• Attributes: Client-centered approach, adaptability, and a passion for innovation in mental healthcare.
• Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, AI, and other relevant tools.
