Job Summary: Harley’s Limited is looking to fill the position of a Medical Representative in it’s Dermocosmetics – Consumer Health business unit. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for promoting the company’s skin care products to a diverse clientele, in accordance with the instructions provided.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales and Marketing: Present, promote and sell dermocosmetics products confidently to both existing and potential customers.
- Meet sales targets on time, track progress and keep clear reports.
- Understand customers’ needs and demonstrate how the products are best suited to meet those needs.
- Service Excellence: Stay updated on best practices, promotional trends, and the latest clinical data to use in conversations with healthcare professionals.
- Keep an eye on new developments in the health sector and adjust strategies to handle any potential impacts on the business.
- Customer Service: Visit customers according to agreed schedules, tailoring your sales approach to each group.
- Manage existing accounts, secure orders and plan daily visits to sales outlets and trade partners.
- Help with payment collection and resolve complaints, including product returns, by investigating issues, finding solutions and reporting recommendations to the Management.
- Reporting: Keep management informed by submitting regular reports of daily call logs, weekly plans and monthly summaries and use the reporting system effectively.
- Collect and share market insights on pricing, products, deliveries and merchandising.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field.
- Previous experience in the marketing of dermocosmetics products is a plus.
- At least three years of field sales experience in the healthcare industry, with strong skills in coaching and motivating sales teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage professionally with vendors and colleagues while resolving issues collaboratively.
