Vi Agroforestry is inviting expressions of interest from qualified media and  communications professionals to support the organisation’s regional media visibility in Eastern Africa.

The Media Consultant / Press & Media Liaison will work with the Vi Agroforestry Regional Office to secure strategic media coverage across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, with a focus on interviews, expert commentary, and selected editorial placements linked to key organisational moments in 2026.

This is a time‑bound consultancy designed to provide targeted, cost‑effective media support that strengthens Vi Agroforestry’s public profile and positions the organisation as a credible voice on agroforestry, climate resilience, food systems, and sustainable livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities

• Secure interviews for Vi Agroforestry experts across radio, TV, print, and online platforms
• Support placement of op‑eds, feature stories, and expert commentary
• Maintain targeted media relationships at national, regional, and selected international level
• Prepare press notes and media materials as needed
• Monitor media coverage and provide brief monthly summaries
