Job Summary

The Mechanical Technician will be helping in business growth and expansion to realizing, increasing revenues, growth in product offerings, customer service,brand awareness and increasing profitability by building strategic partnerships with current and new customers.

Qualifications, skills and experience

• A Diploma in Mechanical and Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology is essential
• Problem solver, strong analytical thinker capable of solving problems raised by clients or employer.
• Creativity; able to develop, design, invent products and figure out how to bring projects home within challenging timeframes.
• Communication skills, should be in position to effectively present proposals, status reports, and final project reports to the responsible parties.
• Math and computer skills, should be comfortable using math and analyze problems and design solutions.
• Team work, should be able to work and promote team environmentamong the colleagues and other members who are not in the same field
• Develop BOQs with supporting drawings, schematics, models, assemblies etc. to simplify justification for any job requirements
• Read and interpret technical drawings, reports, manuals and follow instructions
• A good knowledge of production technologies, preferably with production experience in industry setting.
• Proficient in use of computer applications which include: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Access, MS Project, Engineering Drawing applications such as Solid Edge.
• Should be able to drive with at least Class B and CM.
