JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading manufacturer in the Oral Care industry, based in Uganda. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with machinery, ensuring quick and effective solutions to minimize production disruptions.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and alignment for efficient operation.
• Monitor and inspect machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any modifications made to equipment.
• Work closely with the production team to understand and address mechanical needs and improvements.
• Provide guidance and training to junior technicians and production staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Oral Care or related industry.
• Proficiency in mechanical maintenance and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
