Job Purpose

Job Requirements
A. Qualifications
• Diploma or Certificate in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Certification or training in different massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology).
• Additional training in spa, beauty, or wellness therapies is an added advantage.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an added advantage.
B. Work Experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a hotel, spa, or wellness center.
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a hotel, resort, or spa environment.
• Experience in handling international clients and diverse cultural backgrounds is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide a variety of massage treatments (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, reflexology, hot stone) based on guest needs and requests.
• Assess guest needs, medical history, and preferences to recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, and work areas in line with hotel and health standards.
• Ensure high standards of guest care, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Promote spa and wellness services, including packages, promotions, and retail products.
• Record treatment details and maintain accurate client records for future reference.
• Monitor inventory of massage oils, lotions, and spa supplies, and notify management of replenishment needs.
• Uphold hotel service standards, ensuring professional appearance, grooming, and conduct.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist in promoting wellness programs and engaging guests in hotel fitness/spa facilities.
