Job summary

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment between the organization’s goals and the development of marketing campaigns to meet those objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing and the key performance indicators used to track specific channels including web, social, paid search, and email.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to develop marketing campaigns, brand collateral, and long-term strategies – overseeing the work of external consultants, including web developers, videographers and online platform vendors.
  • Manage brand resources and processes to enable consistent brand delivery, i.e., message frameworks, visual assets, key terminology, accurate data and highlights.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and strategies.
  • Perform extensive quantitative and qualitative market research to implement data driven marketing campaigns and meet organization-wide strategic goals.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and external events calendar to drive awareness with new prospects and accelerate existing opportunities.
  • Organize the company’s presence in external functions and outreach campaigns. Create and supply marketing collateral, merchandise and promotion collateral to each event, measuring and evaluating impact on recruitment and brand awareness.
  • Study the market and analyze market possibilities and advise the sales team and management.
  • Plan, budget and implement agreed communication activities including open houses, customer seminars, media advertising, trade fairs and customer trips.
  • Organize the computerized databases of the customers within the territory (general company information, customer financial statement, volume of sales, timely and accuracy of contract accomplishment, etc.) and ensure it to be accurate and up to date. Provide Sales Team and other staff with this information upon request.
  • Carryout customer surveys to support market research initiatives.
  • Timely implementation of planned advertising and promotion activities according to the approved budgets.
  • Responsible of relationship management with advertisement agencies, press, outdoor vendors etc.
  • Maintaining the territory website and Insure proper company image in all areas.
  • Organize all necessary communication material required for different functions and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • PGD or Masters in an added advantage.
  • Membership in a professional organization is an added advantage.
  • 3 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, brand management, or sales.
  • Strong communication, sales, and presentation skills.
  • Expert knowledge of current marketing trends and multimedia platforms is essential.
