About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Marketing Officer (Telecom) to work in Uganda.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attached to the marketing and sales department, the main task will be to implement and lead the company’s marketing activities in line with the company’s strategy;
- Participate in the marketing strategy adapted to the commercial positioning of the company or the scope;
- Participate in action plans and communication plans;
- Propose communication media, in particular digital;
- Implement and monitor operational marketing actions: media buying, sales support, digital communication, etc.
- Conduct a statistical analysis (traffic on the sites and digital communication matrices, commercial performance, etc.);
- Manage external partnerships such as advertising agencies, media partners, etc.;
- Work with agencies/graphic designers to create new tools and media: flyers, digital comms, etc.;
- Manage & roll-out digital marketing tools (company website, social media, etc.);
- Develop call for tenders in compliance with the regulations in force;
- Analyse the offers of a service provider (communication agencies, press relations agency, web agencies and developers, trade marketing agencies, marketing research institutes, etc.) based on various indicators;
- Analyse the productions of the service providers and propose readjustments according to the needs, standards, and brand guidelines of the company;
- Select the tools and communication media adapted to the needs of the company;
- Organize events supporting the company’s communication strategy;
- Write and update the content of the company’s communication media;
- Analyse the visibility of the company’s brand;
- Be constantly on the lookout for new trends and current events for partnership.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field; master’s is a plus;
- Minimum of three (03) years’ experience in this position or in a similar position,

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
