Role Overview
As a Marketing Officer at Gilgal Consultants Ltd, you will play a vital role in developing and executing marketing strategies that align with our mission. You will work in a results-oriented, formal, and diverse environment, collaborating with a small team to drive our marketing initiatives. Your creativity, proactive and detail-oriented approach will contribute significantly to our clients' satisfaction and the overall success of the company.

Position Details
- Employment Type: Part-time
- Location: Kampala (Hybrid work arrangement)
- Reporting Structure: Reports to the Owner

Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategies through research.
2. Develop pricing strategies that balance firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
3. Compile and maintain lists describing our services.
4. Direct the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing or sales staff, overseeing their daily activities.
5. Consult with product development personnel on product specifications
6. Consult with personnel to gain insights regarding market demand for recruitment services.
7. Communicate with team and customers showing respect and empathy when finding solutions.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary Diploma in Marketing or other related fields.
- Experience: 2-3 years in a marketing role.
- Skills: Creativity, Active Listening, Speaking, Judgment and Decision Making, Coordination, Time Management.
- Knowledge Areas: Sales and Marketing, Customer and Personal Service, Communications and Media, Education and Training.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Luganda.

Preferred Qualifications
- Skills: Monitoring, Complex Problem Solving, Service Orientation.
- Knowledge Areas: Customer and Personal Service, Education and Training.
- Experience in consultancy services is a plus.
