Role Overview
As a Marketing Officer, you will play a vital role in driving our sales and service agreements, requiring a strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to negotiate effectively. You will be part of a dynamic team of two, reporting directly to the Director. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, balancing remote and in-office work in Mukono.

Position Details

Key Responsibilities
1. Negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements.
2. Visit establishments to evaluate needs or to promote product or service sales.

3. Sell service contracts for technical or scientific products.

4. Maintain customer records using automated systems.
5. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms.
6. Provide feedback to product design teams for product tailoring.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Post secondary Diploma in Marketing and other related fields.
- Required Experience: 5-7 years in a similar role.
- Required Skills: Proficiency in speaking, negotiation, monitoring, judgment and decision-making, and time management.
- Required Knowledge: Strong understanding of customer and personal service, sales and marketing, mathematics, and computers and electronics.
- Language Proficiency: English and Luganda.

Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Skills: Proficiency in writing and additional negotiation skills.
- Beneficial Experience: Additional experience in customer service and sales and marketing knowledge.
