JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The primary role of the Marketing Manager is to be responsible for profitability and sustainability of the company portfolio through innovation and regular portfolio optimisation, driving company sales through design, improvement and implementation of the systems and processes that achieve that.
The main objective and focus of this role is to develop a marketing strategy, implement marketing plans, develop sales strategies, maintaining customer relations and create marketing reports.

Key responsibilities:
• Formulate and develop the overall marketing objectives, strategic sales programmes and marketing policies including tactics in line with the company’s short and long term goals.
• Working with the sales and marketing team to develop targeted sales strategies.

• Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products, thereby growing revenue and ensuring sustainability.
• Portfolio optimisation; delist clients that are uneconomical to the company.

• Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales quotas.
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.

• Produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts target groups.

• Build startegic relationships with key industrial players and agencies.
• Oversee and approve marketing material from website banners to brochures and case studies.

Personal Specifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required
• Professional qualification in Marketing (CIM) or MBA is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a related field
• Expertise in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies.
• Proven experience in customer and market research
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Strategic and critical thinking skills
