Candidate Profile
Qualifications/Experience requirement
• Minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in marketing and possession of Chartered Marketing certification.
• At least 6 years’ experience in Marketing and/or Communication preferably in an FMCG.
• Proven competence in Brand/ product building, promotion, and retailing.
• Demonstrated evolved thinking in relation to digital, design, and branding.
• Ability to think strategically with strong interpersonal skills.
• Business development is an advantage.

Key Objective
• Provide leadership and bear responsibility for delivering the company’s marketing ambition in service of the strong performance, visibility and reputation of its products and services.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Custodian of brand and product reputation.
• Ensure all marketing activities are carried out and all materials are developed in compliance with the Code of Business conduct, requisite rules, policies and procedures, voluntary commitments and best practice.
• Create and develop effective marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for key brands, products and services.
• Establish clear brand/ product propositions and coherent brand messaging.
• Manage all marketing spends, assets, platforms (ATL, BTL and digital) and/ or resources.
• Support the execution of and measurement of the impact of CSR on the network.
• Manage the marketing agencies, service providers and media partners.
• Deliver innovative and creative solutions to support the performance of the commercial teams.
• Adopt the appropriate tools and continuously evaluate marketing performance and the impact of campaigns.
• Run retail audits, appreciate the consumer insights and create the appropriate responses to the same.
• Manage all marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Ensure a standard/ consistent look and feel across the retail network in line with the company’s approved framework for its brand assets.
• Identify and manage the relationship with approved brand ambassadors/ influencers.
• Work with the Communications team to protect the TotalEnergies brand and brand norms.
• Work with the commercial and customer relationship management teams on business development intiatives.
• Respond to all customer/ consumer complaints related to marketing and communications.
• Support the implementation of the company’s compliance program including conflict of interest, due diligences for third Parties, competition and anti-bribery policies.
• TEMU’s liaison with the HQ marketing team
