JA Uganda Alumni Network is inviting applications from passionate and committed alumni to serve in leadership positions that will contribute to the growth of the alumni community, strengthen engagement, and amplify the impact of Junior Achievement Uganda.

These roles provide an opportunity for alumni leaders to drive strategic initiatives, support fellow alumni, and contribute to the continued success of the network.

Marketing and Communications Lead

Role Purpose

To strengthen communication, visibility, and engagement within the JA Uganda Alumni Network through effective branding, digital communication, and alumni outreach strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement alumni communication strategies.
• Coordinate newsletters, announcements, and alumni updates.
• Manage digital platforms and online communities.
• Create and coordinate engaging content for alumni communication channels.
• Promote alumni programmes, events, and success stories.
• Support brand visibility and public relations activities.
• Monitor engagement trends and recommend improvements.
• Maintain consistent communication with alumni members.

Key Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Digital marketing and content creation skills.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and communication tools.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational skills.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be between 25 and 35 years old.
• Must be a JA Uganda alumnus/alumna in good standing.
• Demonstrate commitment to JA Uganda’s vision, mission, and core values.
• Possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Be willing and able to commit to a three (3)-year term of service.
