Job Summary:  The Marketing and Communication Officer is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products, services, and brand awareness. They play a key role in creating engaging content, managing digital marketing channels, and fostering positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns to achieve business objectives.
  • Create compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email, and print materials.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including website updates, email campaigns, and social media posts.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and feedback on marketing channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Support marketing events, promotions, and sponsorships as needed.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management tools, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing strategies.
