Job Summary: The Manager, Talent & Learning will report to the Head of People & Culture and will be based at the Head Office. He / She will be accountable for providing specialist support to the business, serving as the subject matter expert in all areas of Talent Management (TM), Learning & Development (L&D), and Organizational Development (OD)

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include:

  • As the subject matter expert, lead and guide the development of Talent Management and Learning & Growth processes, systems, frameworks, and tools for Pride Bank. This ensures that talent management & learning and growth challenges are addressed strategically and not handled on an ad hoc basis.
  • Compile talent management metrics, provide analysis and insight and drive the use of talent data as a fundamental input into HR decision making.
  • Entrench and coordinate the talent planning and review processes and structures to anticipate and meet its talent requirements in the short, medium, and long term.
  • Drives the implementation of the staff development infrastructure, in anticipation of need, including career paths, capability frameworks, competency definition, curriculum design, critical learning interventions, skills sustainability programmes and systems.
  • Provide specialist support to the People and Culture Partners during engagements with internal stakeholders such as functional heads on all matters related to learning and development.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external partners such as training institutions and service providers.
  • Support the alignment of Learning & Development processes, practices, frameworks, and tools in all functions, as appropriate in line with Pride’s strategy.
  • Implement and review effective Learning & Development metrics, to drive and support functional / technical performance.
  • Implement integrated capability building initiatives as support to the on- boarding process, programs driven by Talent Management.
  • Develop and maintain a well-equipped resource center and ensure its efficient and effective management.
  • Develop deep understanding of the organisation’s operating model, with specific focus on functional areas where specific competences are required for the short term and medium term.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning methodologies, including ROI on interventions.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelors’ Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, Education or a related humanities discipline.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in HRM as an added advantage.
  • At least 6 years of combined experience in HR practice with at 3 years’ experience in leading Talent Management processes including Talent Planning, Development of Competence Management Frameworks, Learning & Development, Programs implementation etc.
