To ensure all relevant processes, policies and procedures are in place to minimize Network risks.

Job Title: Manager Standards and Compliance  

Reports to: Senior Manager Technology Quality and Network Performance

Main Job Functions:

• Ensure that Network Systems are in compliance with the organizational policies, industry policies and system security standards                                                               
• In charge of Regulatory and other government stakeholder engagements and system requirements. 
• Ensure compliance to National operator license, Quality of Service (QoS) requirements and other regulatory obligations                                                         
• Track closure of MTN Uganda Network Group Internal and External audit findings 
• Ensure Policies, Processes and Procedures are in place to support required Network security          
• Ensure adherence to processes/procedures within Network Group and undertake research to enhance efficiency of the processes.                                                                          
• Provide leadership to the technology change board and ensure adherence to the change management process.                                                                                   
• Ensure business continuity by ensuring different technical resilience requirements are met 
• Monitoring Network Inventory through the Inventory management tool                                     
• Prepare CAPEX/OPEX budgets required to meet support requirements for the vendors             
• Ensure compliance to Network Systems security standards and controls - ISO27001                         

Education 

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering or any other relevant degree.
• Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body for Engineers will be added advantage

Work Experience       

• 5 years’ experience in Network/Service Planning or Network operations.
