Background

Centenary Bank seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced and competent individual to fill the position below. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and result-driven professional.

Role

Oversees cybersecurity operations, including: team leadership, incident response, policy development, risk management and security operations.

Education and Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related area from a recognized University
• Master’s Degree in an IT related area (Desirable)

Required Experience and Competences

• Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans
• Ability to understand and assess technology systems and applications from both a technical and business function perspective
• Understanding of information security principles and best practices (e.g., ISO27001/2022, COBIT, NIST, PCI DSS and ISF Standards of Good Practice for Information Security).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to analyse security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls
• Knowledge of industry best practices regarding digitalization and automation of banking services.
• Knowledge and experience of UNIX Operating Systems, Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Virtualization technologies, Intrusion Prevention & Detection systems and advanced enterprise networks (LANs & WANs)
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams.
• Professional Qualification (Minimum): CISSP/CEH/CISM/DevSecOps Foundation/Practitioner
• and Network certifications e.g. JNCIS-SEC, CCNP are an added advantage
• Five (5) years’ experience in managing design, development and delivery cybersecurity operations in a large financial institution or a reputable organization of which 3 years must have been at leadership position experience is an added advantage
