About the role
The maintenance technician will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant, usually required to complete repairs on the equipment`s and perform a wide range of facility preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities
• Observing machinery to detect malfunctioning and report for any improvement required.
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule, respond to breakdowns and maintain the records.

• Inspecting building for any issues and reporting any safety concerns
• Training and assisting production operators.
• Communicate with team member and support them by ensure continuous production with minimum wasted time and material.
• Perform daily maintenance task, report on status of machine breakdown, deliver on departmental KPI’s.

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repairing processing plant equipment’s that includes electrical, mechanical & plumbing work ie production mixers, Pumps, electrical devices, water plant, chillers, Generators. Conduct installations of the new equipment’s

• Keeping production machineries/utility in safe working order and adhere to local regulations.
• Participate in production whenever needed.
• Perform any other task in line with his role, skills and qualifications assigned by the line manager/site manager.

Qualifications and skills
• Diploma/Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledgeable in industrial mechanic skill, Team player, ability to multi-task and work flex hours shifts including weekends, interpreting blueprints, diagram, and drawing.

• Hardworking, and physically agile profession who excel at repairing large, complex manufacturing and production system to maintain efficiency operation.
