NHS Highland Estates Dept. requires a Maintenance Supervisor with an Electrical bias, to be based at Cowal Community Hospital, Dunoon.

Applicants should have an appropriate and relevant trades qualification with significant experience in a maintenance environment.

Familiarity and use of computerised maintenance systems is desirable and a flexible approach essential as is the willingness to travel throughout Argyll & Bute HSCP, including at times, overnight.

The successful candidate will be required to participate on an on-call rota for Cowal Community Hospital, which normally will be 1 week in 7.

A full current driving licence is essential. Starting salary is £31,892 per annum - 37 hrs per week, rising to £39,735. Payments for on-call sessions are approx. £216.63 per week.

There is currently long-term retention and recruitment premia (RRP) attached of approx. £4,469 per annum (although this is subject to regular review). Annual leave entitlement starts at 27 days, rising to 33 days after 10 year’s service (+ 8 days public holidays).
