Job Summary
Prepare and review customs documentation for cargo clearance, ensuring compliance with regulations for sea and air freight. Coordinate and optimize shipments, manage bonds, and monitor cargo movement for timely delivery. Facilitate customs clearance, resolve issues proactively, and maintain accurate records and liaison with relevant authorities.

Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review all customs documentation required for the clearance of cargo.
- Ensure compliance with customs laws, regulations, and procedures for both sea and air freight.
- Manage bonds and ensure all necessary bond documentation is accurately processed and maintained.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to arrange and optimize shipments.
- Monitor cargo movement on the high seas and via air, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Facilitate the clearance of cargo through customs procedures, resolving delays or issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and bond status.
- Liaise with customs authorities, port authorities, airlines, and other relevant agencies.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, shipping policies, and international freight forwarding standards.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to freight and customs documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Transport and Logistics Management or related fields. Post-graduate in Clearing and Forwarding is an added advantage.
- Proven experience of at-least 5 years in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or logistics.
- Good knowledge about clearance software and bond management software
- Good understanding of shipping logistics, customs regulations, and international trade procedures.
- Knowledge of bond management and related documentation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in relevant software and documentation systems.
