JOB DESCRIPTION

REPORTS TO: - SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS MANAGER

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the physical and system life cycle of all finished products right from the point of purchase to the point of dispatch to the designated final consumer.

You will play a crucial role in daily operational cycle as well as productivity by ensuring that finished product is clearly and accurately documented in the ERP system as per the physical and soft updates and that all tally at any one given time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create Purchase Orders in the ERP system to enable issuance to Co-operatives in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Daily accurate update of all production stock receipts as reflected on the Order Distributor into the ERP system. This should be done within 24 hrs. of every buying cycle.
  • Based on the above daily receipt updates, prepare a summary Co-operative performance report to your supervisor to allow for effective management follow up on the same.
  • Work with Centre Managers and Personnel to maintain an updated record of all stock, finished products and samples at all operation and production centers, and as reflected in your system updates.
  • Keep track of physical stock movements and ensure that all necessary updates are documented in the ERP system. This should be done within 24 hrs. of every movement/dispatch cycle.
  • Provide support and work with tagging, packing and shipping teams to ensure that all production stock is rightly prepared and dispatched as per the documented instruction.
  • Work with your supervisor and the entire company team to meet and support company's operational needs in line with the organizations’ goals and objectives.
  • Be flexible to meet the needs and demands of a constantly changing business and logistical environment.
  • Supervise, train and monitor regional Logistics Support Teams.
  • Prepare weekly reports on daily operations.
  • And any other duties assigned.
