JOB DETAILS:
Line Cooks are essential team members who execute the preparation and cooking of menu items on specific stations (e.g., grill, sauté, fry, garnish). You will work with precision and speed to ensure every dish that leaves the kitchen is perfect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for service by washing, chopping, and marinating.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications consistently.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary station by following cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety and health department regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Line Cook or Commis Chef.
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
