Job Description

Our Client is a leading gaming company in East and West Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and internal policies and ensure that they comply with legal requirements.
• Negotiate, draft, and execute agreements and contracts on behalf of the company.
• Advice on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals.
• Collaborate with external solicitors to obtain permits for ex-pats, to defend the organization’s rights in contract settlements, negotiations, and litigation.
• Collaborate with Ops Team to resolve and respond to petitions from customers.
• Review and advise management on the legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
• Represent the company at Industry Stakeholders meetings and meetings of any other nature.
• Render proper returns and give adequate notification to the commission as required.
• Prepare the necessary documents for the renewal of licenses.
• Liaise with other Legal Officers of the company spread across various countries.

Candidate Profile:

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) OR Master of Laws (LLM).
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience.
• Nationality- Ugandan
