JOB DETAILS:
• Salary Scale: PU6.1 (Teaching, Science)
• Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Agriculture
• Job Summary:
The Lecturer (Soil Science) will teach, research, and contribute to the understanding and application of soil science in sustainable agricultural practices.
• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Teach soil science and related courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
2. Conduct research on soil management, conservation, and fertility.
3. Supervise student research projects and theses.
4. Engage in outreach activities to support farmers and the community.
• Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Ph.D. in Soil Science or a closely related discipline.
2. Research experience with published work in reputable journals.
3. Experience in teaching at a higher education institution.
