Job Summary:
The Lecturer in International Relations will teach, conduct research, and contribute to program development in political science with a focus on international relations and diplomacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Instruction
- Deliver lectures on International Relations, Foreign Policy, and Global Governance.
- Develop and update course content to reflect global trends.
- Research & Publications
- Conduct research in international politics and publish in academic journals.
- Apply for research grants and participate in policy analysis projects.
- Student Supervision & Mentorship
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Provide academic advising and career mentorship.
- Program Development
- Participate in reviewing and updating the Political Science curriculum.
- Introduce new courses relevant to global politics.
- University & Community Engagement
- Serve in faculty committees and organize public lectures.
- Engage with policymakers, international organizations, and government bodies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Political Science or International Relations.
- A PhD (or ongoing PhD) is an added advantage.
- Experience in university teaching and research.
- Strong publication record and policy engagement experience.
