Key, Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate level.
  2. Plan, develop, and implement course curricula including curricula to be delivered via several models of teaching & learning.
  3. Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
  4. Mentoring of Junior Staff.
  5. Conducting research and community outreach activities.
  6. Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.
  7. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department
Required Qualifications
  1. A PhD with emphasis in Geography or Environmental Geography.
  2. A Master’s degree in Geography specializing in Human Geography.
  3. An honors Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Environmental Management.
  4. Strong methodological competencies in Human Geography and other spatial analytical tools is an added advantage
