Job Description/Requirements
JOB PURPOSE:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Laravel Software Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications. As an intermediate-level Laravel Developer, you will work on a variety of projects, contributing to both frontend and backend development with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
Job-Related Experience and Knowledge (Requirements):
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in web development with a focus on Laravel.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Strong understanding of OOP principles and MVC architecture.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js/React is a plus).
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
- Knowledge of version control tools, particularly Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
