Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct dry matter (DM) testing of fruit samples per variety as per approved standard.
• Carry out proper fruit sampling to obtain representative results.
• Record and analyze DM data to determine maturity levels and suitability for processing.
• Accurately enter all DM and fruit sampling data into the HEXIMAS software.
• Communicate DM test results promptly to the Quality control Manager.
• Escalate non-conformities immediately to the Quality control Manager.
• Verify records of processing parameters for traceability and compliance.
• Collect representative oil samples during processing, filtration, and dispatch.
• Conduct basic analysis (e.g., FFA, moisture, impurities, and sensory checks).
• Submit samples for external lab testing when required and document results.
• Inspect and verify oil quality before dispatch against product specifications.
• Support corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) in case of non-conformities.
• Participate in internal audits and external inspections by regulatory or certification bodies.
• Assist in maintenance of supplies and equipment inventories; communicate supplies and equipment need to the Quality Manager for purchase, when need arises.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, Chemistry, Food Science and Technology or any other related field from a recognized university.
• At least 3+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and any ERP
• Key Requirements:
• Trained in Good Laboratory Practices, Method verification/Validation and Measurement Uncertainties.
• Ability to pursue high standards of excellence in line with agreed policies and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
