Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Human Resource Manager, the role involves managing day-to-day HR activities, supporting recruitment, facilitating staff welfare and development, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. This role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, interpersonal sensitivity, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resource Management
● Support the Human Resource Manager in the development and implementation of the HR plan for the factory.
● Coordinate HR processes including recruitment, promotions, transfers, exits, and disciplinary actions.
● Draft and circulate vacancy announcements; prepare candidate profiles; participate in interview panels.
● Organize and conduct onboarding/orientation for new staff and interns.
● Maintain up-to-date and confidential staff records and files.
● Manage monthly leave schedules and attendance tracking for all staff.
● Prepare and submit HR-related reports and statistics.
● Ensure timely and proper implementation of exit procedures and staff clearances.
● Promote and support a positive work culture by addressing staff concerns and fostering staff relations.
● Advise staff on health, safety, and security procedures and concerns.
Administration & General Services
● Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and documentation of all office and factory assets including equipment, buildings, and facilities.
● Supervise administrative support services, including cleaning, maintenance, and office organization.
● Monitor outsourced service providers and casual labourers to ensure compliance with performance expectations.
● Manage the administration store, including inventory tracking and issuing of items.
● Organize staff events and factory-based functions.
● Maintain effective filing systems and handle routine internal and external correspondence.
● Ensure that the office and compound are clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications & Experience:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
● Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in HR or administration in a manufacturing or industry setting.
