JOB DETAILS:

Tembo Steels (U) Ltd, one of East Africa’s leading steel manufacturers, is looking for a motivated Junior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Projects team. This full-time role is ideal for early-career engineers eager to gain hands-on experience in industrial construction, factory expansion, and infrastructure development.

What You’ll Do:

Support planning, design & execution of civil/structural works

Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates & work schedules

Monitor construction sites, quality & safety compliance

Collaborate with senior engineers and contractors

Learn and apply local construction codes and standards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering

1–3 years of experience (internships/projects in manufacturing are a plus)

Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or Revit

Strong teamwork, communication & learning attitude
