Job Summary

Reliable and technically skilled IT Support & Systems Administrator to manage our company’s digital infrastructure, including computer hardware, internet systems, rented servers, and website performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring uptime, security, and technical support for both our internal team and externally facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Technical Support

    • Set up and maintain computers, internet connectivity, and networking infrastructure across the company.
    • Provide day-to-day technical support to staff for hardware, software, email, and connectivity issues.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with internal systems to minimize downtime and disruption.

2. Web & Server Management

  • Manage rented servers and hosting environments, including uptime monitoring, file structures, performance, and backups.
  • Maintain and update company websites and job board platforms to ensure speed, usability, and security.
  • Support domain management, SSL certificates, and email delivery systems.

3. Web Development & Design

    • Implement and maintain front-end design improvements on Lafab’s websites (including mobile responsiveness and UX optimization).
    • Customize website features or add new tools (such as application forms, tracking tools, or dashboards).
    • Coordinate with external developers or agencies when needed for complex tasks.

4. Data Protection & Backup

  • Implement and manage data backup systems to secure company and client data.
  • Ensure all IT practices comply with data privacy laws and best practices (including handling of client, candidate, and payroll data).
  • Monitor for unauthorized access or risks and respond with timely mitigation.

5. System Optimization & Tools

  • Recommend and help implement digital tools or systems that improve business workflows (e.g., team collaboration, recruitment tracking, payroll software).
  • Train team members on basic IT processes, data protection, and the use of business tools.
  • Keep systems updated with necessary patches and updates.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or web development.
  • Proficiency in managing cPanel/WHM, cloud hosting environments, and CMS platforms (especially WordPress).
  • Knowledge of network configuration, server security, data backup systems, and basic scripting (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP).
  • Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with a sense of responsibility and urgency.
