Background
FRIENDS Consult Limited is inviting dynamic, enthusiastic and self- driven individuals to apply for our exciting internship opportunities.
Responsibilities
- First-Line IT Support: Provide frontline technical assistance to staff on hardware, software, email, and network issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
- Hardware & Software Installation: Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, operating systems, and application software across the organization.
- Network Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, internet connectivity, and shared digital resources to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- User Account Administration: Support the administration of email software, user accounts, and related systems, including creating, modifying, and deactivating accounts as needed.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates of computers and ICT equipment, ensuring all systems are patched, secure, and functioning optimally.
- Equipment Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of ICT equipment, tracking assignments, warranties, and maintenance schedules.
- Additional ICT Duties: Perform any other ICT-related duties assigned by the supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization's digital infrastructure.
- Qualifications/Requirements
- Focus: Technical support, hardware/software maintenance, network administration, and IT infrastructure
