Role Overview

As an IT Engineer at JOYSCOM ENGINEERING COMPANY LTD, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical assistance and support to our team and clients. You will be part of a small, agile team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, working in a dynamic environment where flexibility and results-oriented approaches are highly valued. Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-time
• Location: On-site in Bushenyi
• Reports to Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

1. Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.

2. Read technical manuals and conduct diagnostics to resolve computer-related issues.

3. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware and software, following specifications.

4. Monitor system functionality, entering commands to verify correct operations.

5. Maintain records of daily communication transactions and remedial actions taken.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• Required Skills: Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Complex Problem Solving, Writing, Monitoring.
• Required Experience Level: No required experience.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English and Swahili.
