Background
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is public-benefit German company with worldwide operations in the field international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ Uganda through Green People's Energy (GBE) invites bids from competent and eligible firms/companies for Supply and installation of off-grid solar PV systems in refugee settlements in West Nile as per below.

Eligibility criteria
The following information and documents will also be considered during evaluation on pass/fail basis and non-compliant bids will be eliminated.
• Registered powers of attorney authorizing signatory representative of the sign bids/tenders on behalf of the firm
• Current and valid Income Tax Clearance Certificate addressed to GIZ
• Valid Trading License
• Bivality period of 120 working days.

Delivery schedule
• Provision of installation warranty service for at least two years, and provision of manufacturer's warranty of key components (minimum durations as stipulated in bidding/tendering documents).
• Related work experience of supply and installation of solar PV systems for Productive Users of Energy and ability to deliver prompt after-sales services to last mile customers for the past 5 years. Attach 4 reference letters in similar, scope and value.

• Failure to indicate the tender reference number in the subject may disqualify your offer directly as it may fail to be received in the tender box.
• Late submissions will not be accepted!
• Bids submitted with GIZ staff or other GIZ emails in copy shall be rejected.
• Only bids submitted to UG Quotation@giz.de are acceptable. s. You should have offers in PDF and zip folders.

One email should be used for submitting the Offer.

Only filetransfer https://transfer.gz del should be used for submission of documents exceeding the default mail size of 30 MB or use one email for submitting the eligibility documents, technical proposal/offer and Financial Proposal/ Offer. Failure to follow the above instruction may lead your offer to be encrypted and not be accepted.
GIZ remains with full rights to cancel this process at any stage without informing providers and at no cost refund to the providers who participate in this tender process.
