Job Description/Requirements
Reports to:Buyer Engagement Lead / CEO
Job Summary:
Identifies and manages relationships with foreign produce buyers, export partners, and international aggregators. Supports AgroStrings in building its export profile and growing global demand for Ugandan produce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and onboard foreign produce buyers.
- Manage online export platforms (e.g., Alibaba, Tridge).
- Handle buyer documentation and export logistics coordination.
- Build trade partnerships and represent AgroStrings in export trade events.
Qualifications:
- Degree in International Trade, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Experience in exports, trade facilitation, or buyer sourcing.
- Fluent in English (French/Arabic/Swahili is a bonus).
- Strong networking, digital communication, and negotiation skills.
