Job Title: International Business Administrator

Report to: International Business Coordination Manager

Duty Station: Head Office

About our client:

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG sector that deals with diverse products in East Africa seeking to hire a suitable candidate as International Business Administrator.

Job summary:

To coordinate, generate, prepare and execute all international sales related activities at head office with Country General Managers / Supervisors and international business staff for proper and effective flow of International Business sales functions. Collect, analyze, evaluate and report sales data in order to increase sales productivity; analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales.

 Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer the process of International Business sales orders raised by sales representative, International Business General Manager or distributor for effective and timely delivery to customers.
  • Provide input in the processing of Tax invoice and Packing list for Uganda Revenue Authority to release the certificate of origin.
  • Facilitate the clearing agent of the organization in verification and Assessment of the loaded products at the boarder points.
  • Process and provide listing of newly developed products for export purposes.
  • Liaise with stores and production departments to ensure timely loading and dispatch loaded sales vehicles and ensure availability of required stock for loading.
  • Receive and manage all customer issues/ requests forwarded by International Business distributors, Country manager and any International Business person.
  • 100% verification of credit limits/ payment terms of all International Business distributors before processing fresh orders. Information to distributors on their credits, debts and stock outs to guide in order generation, monitor the agents’ accounts.
  • 100% timely preparation and sending of allowances for International Business team outside the country.
  • Ensure 100% proper documentation and filing of the International business files and documents.
  • Process returned products/damages from International Business distributors so that the cross-ponding credit notes can be issued to reduce their accounts.
  • Proper customs documentation and accurate information on release documentation to the clearing agent.
  • Analyze sales and coordinate all activities performed in International Business sales administration office and write a monthly sales analysis report to Manger to inform him on sales performance.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of French and Swahili is a compulsory requirement.
  • Legal knowledge of foreign currencies, tariffs and trading regulations.
  • Budgeting and Data analysis.
  • Record Management and Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
