Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Husky Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Husky machines used in plastic molding processes. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain Husky machines to ensure efficient production of plastic parts according to specifications.
Quality Control: Monitor production and inspect products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company and customer standards.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with the machines, including shutdowns for repairs, quality, or safety concerns.
Maintenance: Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery as required.
Documentation: Complete and file necessary documentation in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Assist other operators and maintenance personnel as needed, and communicate effectively with production teams.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance machine efficiency and product quality.
Requirements:
Experience: 4 and above years of experience operating Husky machines or similar equipment is preferred.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in basic computer operations and documentation.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or a related field is advantageous.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
