Summary
The Humanitarian Impact Institute (HII) is seeking enthusiastic people who are curious to understand issues, have analytical minds and the best possible English writing skills to join our team as an Analyst.
To be successful in this role you will have 2-4 years experience conducting analytics and report writing on project performance in English in the humanitarian sector. You should be comfortable conducting sampling plans, conducting mixed methods investigations as part of a team.

You will be working across our projects delivering a variety of MERL projects for international donors and INGOs. This is a role for someone able to work effectively remotely and under pressure.

The Role
This role will help deliver evaluations, research studies, monitoring and other investigations globally across HII’s projects. HII delivers evaluations and large MEAL programs globally, with a focus on East Africa, MENA, south Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. Most of our work is delivered in Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Ukraine and Lebanon.
HII is dedicated to increasing the impact of humanitarian and emergency responses, as well as development programs globally. This is a junior to mid level role that would support projects and work with diverse project teams in performance evaluations, learning reviews and AAP studies.

The role involves contributing to:
• Design and delivering end-to-end MEAL projects including evaluations, TPMs and other studies such as AAP studies;
• Conducting triangulated mixed methods analysis;
• Data and knowledge management within each project;
• Providing advice to teams in your practice and other practices within HII;

• Help ensure high levels of technical competency across projects;

• Building lasting client relationships on projects you deliver; and
• Ensuring all M&E projects are intersectional, conflict, disability and gender sensitive.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2-4 years of experience conducting mixed methods analysis in the humanitarian sector;
• The highest possible standards of writing in English;

• Effective technical quantitative and qualitative skills;
• Complete natural fluency in written and spoken English; and
• Be completely aligned with our values and our goals on diversity, inclusion and localisation.
