Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement an HR strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, career development and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan labour legislation by introducing policies and procedures (employment contracts, health & safety, internal regulations).
• Plan and administer compensation, bonus and benefit schemes; oversee payroll calculations.
• Drive employee engagement and strengthen company culture by organising engagement events and internal communications.
• Advise the leadership team on organisational structure, change management and talent planning.

Candidate Requirements

• University degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field; MBA/MA is an advantage.
• At least 2+ years of HR management experience, preferably in finance, telecommunications or a fast‑growing tech company.
• Sound knowledge of Ugandan labour law, payroll taxes and employee benefits.
• Hands‑on experience with HRIS, recruitment tools and performance‑management systems.
• Strong communication and coaching skills; ability to work in a diverse, multicultural environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Luganda or Swahili is a plus.
