JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
To participate in the management of the human resource function at the Financial Intelligence Authority.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Update and maintain relevant personnel data
ii. Interpret and advise staff on application of existing Human Resource rules, regulations, procedures and standing orders or on any other relevant issues; iii. Maintain staff attendance register, staff clock in and clock out system at point of entrance in line with the HR manual approved guidelines;
iv. Provide technical guidance to resolve conflict amongst staff;
v. Prepare monthly salary schedules and submit them to the Senior Human Resource Officer;
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
A. Qualifications
i. Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Sciences/Arts, Commerce, Business Administration or any other related degree with a bias in Human Resource Management field.
B. Experience
i. No experience required
C. Competencies.
i. Knowledge and understanding of the Authority’s vision, mission and objectives;
ii. Should possess values of the Authority which include; integrity, confidentiality, Accountability, professionalism.
iii. Ability to analyze, interpret and explain Employment Laws;
iv. Human Resource Management;
v. Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
vi. Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
vii. Demonstrate sound work ethics and person with high integrity
viii. Leadership skills;
ix. Good decision maker and strategic thinker;
