JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary
The Human Resource Officer will support the HR department by recruiting, supporting, and developing talent, ensuring compliance, and handling administrative tasks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer HR-related inquiries and address employee concerns.
- Handle recruitment, job postings, and hiring processes.
- Support management in disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and employment standards.
- Manage employee travel logistics (flights, hotels, transportation).
Skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong organization and record-keeping abilities.
- Proficiency in writing, communication, and leadership.
- Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented.
- Computer literacy and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Payroll processing is a plus
- Registered Member of the Human Resource Managers’ Association Of Uganda (HRMAU)
